We at EEVOF Digital Solutions Sdn Bhd (“EEVOF”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our website (“Site”), our SaaS platforms, our mobile applications (“App”), and other online products and services (collectively, the “Services”). This policy applies to:

A. Information You Provide Directly

We collect information you provide directly to us when you register for an account, subscribe to a service, or communicate with us. This includes:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, email address, physical address, business address, and phone number.

  • Transaction Data: Credit card details (processed securely via Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).

  • User Content (Comments & Reviews): When you leave comments or reviews on our City Directory, we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also your IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

B. Information Collected Automatically (Technical Data)

  • Log Files: We collect internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

  • Location Information: When you use our City Directory or Maps services, we may collect your precise location data (GPS) or approximate location derived from your IP address.

  • Gravatar Service: An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

C. Media and Uploads

If you upload images to the website (e.g., for business listings or car condition reports), you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies to administer the Site, track users’ movements, and analyze trends.

  • Login Cookies: If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

  • Session Cookies: When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks.

  • Comment Cookies: If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

  • Do Not Track: We do not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals as there is no industry standard for compliance.

     

4. How We Use Your Information

We use your information for legitimate business purposes, including:

 

  • Service Delivery: To operate the CRM, Auto System, and Directory platforms.

     

  • Billing: To process subscriptions via Stripe.

     

  • Communication: To send you confirmations, technical notices, updates, security alerts, and support messages.

  • Marketing: To send you newsletters or promotional offers (only if you have opted in). You may opt-out at any time.

5. Sharing Your Information

We will not rent, sell, lease, or barter your personal information to anyone. We only share data in the following ways:

  • Service Providers: We share data with vendors who perform services on our behalf, such as payment processing (Stripe), cloud hosting (Bubble.io), and spam detection services (automated checks on visitor comments).

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or government regulation, or if we believe your actions are inconsistent with our user agreements or to protect the rights, property, or safety of EEVOF or others.

  • Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business.

6. International Data Transfers

In order to provide our products and services to you, we may send and store your personal information outside of the country where you reside, including to Malaysia, the United States, or Singapore. We take appropriate steps to ensure your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws (including GDPR and PDPA).

7. Embedded Content from Other Websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website. These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.

8. Data Retention

  • Comments: If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically.

  • Registered Users: For users that register on our website, we store the personal information provided in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

  • Financial Records: We retain transaction data for at least 7 years to comply with tax obligations.

9. Your Rights (GDPR & PDPA)

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request an exported file of the personal data we hold about you.

  • Deletion: Request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw your consent for us to contact you or process your data at any time.
